ich verwende firefox 2.0.0.12 und bin im studivz registriert. seit der umstellung des nachrichtendienstes anfang dieses jahres konnte ich studivz-nachrichten nicht mehr anzeigen lassen, weil der dazugehörige link scheinbar nicht funktionierte.
 

das problem konnte ich nach etwas herum-testen ausfindig machen: das firefox-addon “geo 0.7″.
wenn geo deaktiviert ist, funktioniert bei mir auch das vz-messaging wieder.
 

vielleicht nützt diese erkenntnis ja dem einen oder anderen vz-user etwas…

contents: photosynthesis activity and its dependency on temperature (measured by the level of chlorophyll fluorescence), catalases, peroxidases, phenolases, alcohol dehydrogenase, antioxidant levels in foods, chloroplast pigments, measuring photosynthetic oxygen production with isolated chloroplasts, abscission and the role of phytohormones (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, α-naphthaleneacetic acid, indole-3-acetic acid).

ich hatte anfang dezember die gelegenheit, das aon kombipaket zu testen.
für das hausinterne LAN und WLAN wollte ich mich natürlich nicht mit jedem einzelnen PC via VPN einwählen müssen – die konfiguration meines routers (d-link 707p) war ein kinderspiel. nach wenigen einstellungen war die verbindung hergestellt.

man hält das glück viel zu oft für unvergänglich,
und der verstand ist für die wahrheit nicht empfänglich:
das glück ist keineswegs normal, und selbstverständlich
ist alles irdische letztendlich ziemlich endlich.

doch wird mir erst später klar
wie schön es vorher war,
dann kann ich mir doch nix mehr dafür kaufen!
man muß sein glück sofort erkennen
und es auch beim namen nennen:
bis jetzt ist alles tierisch gut gelaufen.

a friend’s friend recently told me this story from one of paul watzlawick’s books:

the story of the hammer
a man wants to hang a painting. he has the nail, but not the hammer. therefore it occurs to him to go over to the neighbor and ask him to lend him his hammer.
but at this point, doubt sets in. what if he doesn’t want to lend me the hammer? yesterday he barely spoke to me. maybe he was in a hurry. or, perhaps, he holds something against me. but why? i didn’t do anything to him.
if he would ask me to lend him something, i would, at once. how can he refuse to lend me his hammer? people like him make other people’s life miserable. worst, he thinks that i need him because he has a hammer. this has got to stop!
and suddenly the guy runs to the neighbor’s door, rings, and before letting him say anything, he screams: “you can keep your hammer, you bastard!”
