i’ve just released the latest photo-update.
i haven’t really had any good, creative photosessions lately – mostly because of a lack of time and energy.
most of the new photos were done for some sort of request.

i’ve also uploaded two live-recordings of that funeral on september 15th. i was singing there with “collegium vocale” – a great nearby choir that i wish i could take part in…

i must state that i made those recordings with my mp3-player, which did a great job considering that it was actually designed for playing mp3s… anyway, i have activated a setting that allows the microphone to adjust itself to the surrounding volume, so it might take away some effects like dynamics and stuff. but it’s great if you have no idea how loud it’s gonna get…

this is funny:

yesterday i received an email of a very-remote-acquaintance who was seeking computer help.
her question was: “what should i do if i can’t get an internet connection?”

let’s back up here: she sent an email telling me that her internet-access didn’t work.

to be fair: there is a slim chance that she wanted to say something like “it works now, but what should i do if i ever don’t get a connection?”, but i don’t really think that’s the case here…

by the way: expect a photo update within the next time (weekend?) – i know i’m behind…

ok, i confess. i did it.
i took some time that i didn’t have in the first place and did one of those quiz-thingies – the question being “what kind of social entity are you?”. now have a look at the outcome:

today was a great day.

having had very few sleep in the last week, using about all of my free time (and comp time) for studying, i’m feeling great!
when i went to university today for the ecology-exam, it just felt good walking on university-ground again. i couldn’t help but to smile when i entered campus.
the test (ecology of plants, animals and microorganisms) went well, i think.
so although i expected to see some familiar faces, there were none. only one person i had noticed in classes before.

therefore, i met several friends in a course (introduction on molecular biology basics) afterwards.
wow, i enjoyed attending a lecture sooo much! the topic was very interesting, and time flew.
plus, now i’m so well motivated that i’m going to take the test on thursday as well. it was good to feel like a real student once again…

right now i’m a bit dizzy (in the meaning of “numb”), though. and my eyes are burning – but what do you expect?

i’m pretty worn out now.
the ratio of “concentrating” to “not-being-able-to-concentrate-anymore” has dropped drastically.
i’m feeling like “johnny mnemonic”. what a bad movie!

anyway, i couldn’t help but share this little song with you:
it’s from southpark (s6e09 – free hat).

the plot: people want to free a murderer of 23 toddlers (that he killed in self-defense; his name is hat). they’re trying to cool the governor’s hot temper with a fresh island song.

this song is cool! i think most southpark-songs could easily take on disney-songs!

it’s time to change the style of music i listen to.
i need something more …happy right now, so the one song i’ll be listening to for the next week – all the time, whenever i can – will be:

the first time (that i can remember) i heard this song was in the us, about a year ago.
so it gives me good feelings whenever i hear a glimpse of it :grin:

i’d like to mention that the lyrics really have nothing to do with what i’m facing currently – unlike in previous posts…
actually i’m really enjoying to stay in contact with people / get back into contact with those i haven’t met in some time…
also, i seem to run into old friends a lot lately.
