our family is kinda …weird!
just a minute ago, my parents realized (after i slightly pointed it out) that they had been watching tv with the audio channel for blind people. for half a year.
they just didn’t think about having more than one audio channel in digital tv.
my dad said that he had noted more and more movies had commentator-voices saying everything non-verbal that happened. “it’s for all the blind people!”

i couldn’t stop laughing!
so eventually, i switched it back to normal audio…

***edit***
another of today’s anectodes:
my grandma came over today. when my dad said he had heard that carrots have very positive effects on one’s eyesight, she said “well sure, or have you ever seen a monkey with glasses?”
i’ve known that joke since i can remember, and it is still funny in certain situations. it’s just that MONKEYs like BANANAs very much, not carrots.
(well, at least in the jokes and tv-shows they do)

yesterday, my seasonal preference for hot&spicy food (which can get pretty excessive) has reached a new level. just a little hotter and it would have been masochistic.
some friends and i had dinner at “centro”, and although it might not be very good for my stomach, i had a very hot chicky (pita with fried chicken, lettuce, raw onions and other vegetables), and i was still sweating for like 30 minutes after i had finished it. i really enjoyed it, and afterwards i already thought about what might go with the tabasco sauce at home…

since my grandmother is on holidays in turkey this week, she lent me her car. *happy*
today i thought i should use it to full capacity, but i didn’t know where to go.
so i thought “what the heck, let’s go to grimms”. now, since i just made the name up that moment, grimms isn’t anywhere near a real (german) word…
but map24.com said that there’s a village called “krimml”, and that’s a nice compromise. especially since there’s a cascade in krimml, and a storage lake nearby, and the road leads up to 1600m and down again – so lots of different sceneries.

my little brother decided he was going with me, so we set out to krimml at 11:30. tom’s gps route planner did an amazing job! it’s so nice if somebody tells you what to do all the time…

we had a lot of fun while driving there, took some pictures, and went back again (with lots of short stops for photos). total driving time: 3 hours. total trip time: about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

the only thing that’s annoying when you’re driving is that you can’t use your camera. there was a lot of stuff i would have liked to take pictures of, but i had to concentrate on the road and there was no place to stop… well, anton took some for me!

anyway: thank you granny! (although you’re most likely not going to read this)

aparrently, the filesharing program bittorrent now uses more than 35 percent of *all* internet traffic!

guess now we know why it’s called bittorrent!

my mind is totally clogged. congested. 100% blocked up.

i can’t stop to think of what i’m thinking all the time these days.
even now that i try to concentrate on writing, it’s still only second level thoughts that get a glimpse of time.

i’m thinking about it (no, i’m not going to tell what, yet!) so intensely that it’s almost like i have memories from future. i keep picturing me out doing this and that, and because i’ve already thought of that just before, i’m actually remembering.

strange
